Our story begins in the early 1990s – in the core systems of insurers,
where responsibility, decisions, and data come together every day.
We supported insurers such as AXA, Nürnberger, R+V and Signal Iduna in the digitalization of central processes:
portfolio, claims, partners, products, collections, and commissions.

Experience that shaped systems
As founders, owners, and part of the management team, we had a significant influence on companies such as FJA, COR (now MSG), and NOVUM (now Novum RGI).
We created the standard software for property, life, and health insurers from the initial idea to product maturity —
as the intellectual fathers of modern core systems.
These are used by AXA, Nürnberger, Die Bayerische, UNIQA, and the PKV Association and form the backbone of central insurance processes.

We didn't just talk about core systems – we built them.

From core systems to AI – the logical next step
After selling NOVUM, we founded the InsurTech incubator 9elf26.com and now support over a dozen companies with capital, structure, and industry knowledge.

This gave rise to 9elf26.ai –
with the aim of bringing artificial intelligence directly into the core processes of insurers.
